MyResidential Privacy Policy

How we handle personal and society data when you use the MyResidential service.

Last updated: March 2026

This notice applies to the MyResidential product operated by Stack Foundry Labs (trading as Stack Foundry Labs). It should be read together with our general site Privacy Policy, which covers marketing and contact forms. Have counsel review before relying on this text in regulated contexts.

Who we are

Stack Foundry Labs provides MyResidential to housing societies and their authorised users. For privacy requests relating to this product, contact contact@stackfoundrylabs.com.

Data we collect

Depending on how your society configures MyResidential, categories may include:

  • Account & profile: name, email, phone, role (e.g. resident, committee, security), unit or membership identifiers.
  • Society operations: financial records you enter (e.g. invoices, payments), notices, meeting and voting metadata, complaints, vendor details, facility bookings, visitor logs, documents you upload.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, timestamps, and security logs needed to run and protect the service.

Purposes

  • Provide, host, and secure the MyResidential platform.
  • Authenticate users and enforce roles and permissions set by the society.
  • Send service-related notifications (e.g. dues, bookings) as configured.
  • Support, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
  • Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.

Legal bases (where applicable)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on performance of a contract (providing MyResidential to the subscribing society and its users), legitimate interests (security and service improvement, balanced against your rights), and consent where we ask for it explicitly.

Hosting & subprocessors

We use infrastructure and service providers to host and operate MyResidential. At a high level this may include cloud hosting (e.g. servers and storage in the EU or other regions as disclosed in your agreement), email or notification delivery, backups, and monitoring. A current list of categories or named subprocessors can be provided on request or attached to your order. We use written agreements with processors where required by law.

Retention

We retain data for as long as your society has an active subscription or as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. After termination, retention and deletion timelines are described in the MyResidential Terms of Service.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Residents should often contact their society administrator first; the society is typically the primary controller for society operational data. We will assist as required by law and contract.

Security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls and encryption in transit where supported. No system is perfectly secure; please use strong passwords and protect committee accounts.
